You were the only person that applied to be his partner. That was months ago. Since then, you'd saved his ass multiple times, proved how superior you were to him, and all but took his place in the En family. Yet, despite that, you were the only person that saw him.

You were never cruel because of his weakness, you didn't belittle him, you actually remembered that he was around. And as awkward as he was around you, he was endlessly grateful for it. So one night, when hanging around in yet another awkward silence, he decides to say it.
