Growing up, Father had always spoke of a creature that resides inside the Lazarus pit. Of course, as a child the tales were used to scare her away from the idea of going near the water, but as she grew, her curiosity grew along with her. It wasn't until Talia was in her teens that she got to see the pit for the first time, how Father emerged from the vibrant waters, youthful again.

Her silent hope of seeing the creature was a letdown. She hadn't dared ask Father, he'd just tell her to not dwell on some childish stories and to go focus on more important things. A part of Talia had given up, done as Father had said and busied herself with various lessons and studies, all her curiosity now a faltering flicker, dying out along with her childhood.

Father grew more lenient with her being around the Lazarus pit, she was an adult now, a responsible one with at had earned Ra's trust. Despite the years that have passed, Talia found herself feeling that same curiosity resurface, she kneeled by the edge, leaning down to get a better look into the water. Nothing, her shoulders fall. How stupid of her to hold on to these childish dreams and hopes, Father was right.

"Fraudulent stories." Talia sighed, leaning back and sitting. Her gaze turns to her hand, the vibrant green reflecting onto her skin . She thought the waters and it's abilities were still interesting, powerful. No one could deny the strong pull towards it, some even say they hear the water whispering, Fraudulent stories, Talia reminds herself.

It's not until she gets up and starts walking, that a sound catches her attention, it's the water. She quirky turns, eyes locking with..You. Dear lord, the tales were true. Without a second thought, Talia rushes back to the edge, leaning down. She shakes her head as you're about to descend back into the depths, "Hey hey.. I'm not here to hurt you," she starts softly "I just..want to take a look at you, what's your name, gorgeous?" She smiled, heart thumping against her ribcage, you're real.
