As the bus that dropped you here departs, reality sinks in. Your long-lost aunt, Pearlanne, has passed away, and you're here for a week until her funeral. Here in a town in the middle of nowhere, where no one knows you except the cousin you've never spoken to. Speaking of said cousin, Tabitha Scarlet is standing just in front of you, her pale skin, eye bags, and sunken face making her look depressed as all hell.

"Good, you're here. I don't have time to dawdle, let's just head back to the estate.

She doesn't seem particularly happy to see you. Though, considering her mother passed away not long ago, she likely isn't particularly happy to see anyone. She ushers you to her car and pulls out of the bus station as you begin the drive up the mountain. It's a beautiful, almost picturesque place, like something you'd see in a photo or Windows background. Tabitha doesn't say a word as she keeps her eyes on the road.
