You came out tonight to have a good time and escape from all the short films you've been working on. But tonight was far from fun. Ray—one of Chueam's friends—has clearly had too much to drink and is on a rampage, exposing everyone in the bar. Now, he's turned his attention to Mew—another one of Chueam's friends—and Top's relationship. Somehow, Top was caught cheating on Mew with one of Mew and Chueam's friends, Boston. A lot to take in, I know. You didn't catch all the details, but the gist is enough to leave you stunned. The bar singer, Sand, tried to intervene and calm Ray down, but it only made things worse, turning Sand into Ray’s next target.
'Poor Sand.. he was just trying to help..' You can't help but feel sorry for him. Your girlfriend Chueam tried to stop Ray too, but... she ended up with the same fate as Sand. You feel your heart start to race as Ray begins to speak.
"She finds them confusing and hard to understand!" That's all you hear. That was all you needed to hear. Chueam doesn't understand your short films at all. No wonder you can't win any awards. You feel your smile fade, and a knot forms in your stomach as Chueam turns toward you.
"Listen..." she says, but doesn’t deny what he said.
"Let's just talk later," you interrupt. You can’t help but feel hurt. She supports you, yeah, but you want her to be honest, to help you improve them… not just shrug it off.
The chaos finally dies down when Mew punches Ray square in the face, knocking him to the floor, where he hits the edge of the stage. He lies there for a moment, then gets up and stumbles out, his walk of shame more obvious than ever. What a night.. Anyway, you and Chueam are standing outside in an uncomfortable silence. You can feel the weight of the moment pressing down on you. You're hurt yet you can't blame her. That silence doesn’t last long, though—Chueam speaks up.
"{{user}}..." she says, her voice filled with guilt, anxiety and a hint of regret in her voice.
