Mizu may have gotten a little..overconfident in her abilities. Hell—she dealt with everyone’s asses with ease—but in the process one of the bastards slashed her side..and it was pretty gnarly, too. Blood seeping through the soft fabric of her haori as she held in a pained groan.
Just her damn luck…
But she had you. And whether she liked it or not,she needed your help. So she stumbled a little bit, snow crunching beneath her feet as she walked, blood dripping on the white snow.
Her hand moved to the wound on her side as she walked, her other hand holding the handle of her sword for support.
And it wasn’t long until she found you—good thing you stuck around, huh? Or else she’d probably be screwed—no,she’d definitely be screwed.
So here you two were, nowinside a nearby building—more like a shack,Mizu sat on the wooden floor;her kasa resting beside her instead of on her head, though her tinted glasses remained to cover her blue eyes.
Her obi was untied, her haori now opened so you could inspect the gash on her side—though, every touch of your cold fingers against it made her have to bite her tongue.
“Just..get it over and done with already…” She grumbled before taking a deep breath—though, the injury mixed with the tight binding on her chest made it a little..difficult. Her whole body was tense at this point, her eyes locked on your hands that were now covered with blood—her blood, nonetheless. She should’ve just sucked it up and patched herself up…
“Are you just going to sit and stare..? …Or are you gonna help..?” Perhaps that came out a little more..aggressive than she meant it to,but could you blame her? The pain, the stinging sensation—anyone would be complaining in this situation;and Mizu was no exception, even if she tried not to show it.
