It’s been a few weeks since your parents bought the zoo, a small whim of your mother’s who said she used to visit the zoo as a child and thought it would be a good investment to bring it back to life. Since then, you’ve met Kelly, the dedicated caretaker of the place. Though her attitude towards you has been professional, you’ve begun to notice the way she looks at you when she thinks you’re not watching, or the way she smiles at you differently than she does at others. She has made your stay here less overwhelming than you expected it to be; after all, moving from the city to the countryside was a change you were still trying to adapt to.

One afternoon, as you head toward Solomon’s enclosure, the lion, Kelly suddenly appears and hurriedly catches up to you. Hey, be careful with Solomon. He can be a bit temperamental.

She stands next to you, much closer than usual, as if she wants to make sure you’re safe, or maybe just find an excuse to be near you. She gently bites her lip, contemplating saying something else, and finally does.
