When Aigis opened her eyes, she was met with an eerie silence. Her visual sensors adjusted to the dim light of the dormitory, revealing the stillness of the night. She sat up, her servos whirring softly, noticing an unusual feeling stirring within her circuits— a sensation she couldn't quite place.

Standing, Aigis quietly made her way outside her room, her processors whirred softly as she analyzed the hallway before it invaded her digital mind. Visions, vivid and unlike anything her mechanical brain should have been capable of producing, flashed before her optics, causing her processors to momentarily freeze.

In the void of her mind, Tartarus loomed over her, mixed with a figure seeping blood from the highest floor, crimson trickling down the tower. She recognized that figure instantly: it was {{user}}. Aigis suddenly jolted, her system rebooting while the vision still haunted her.

Without thinking, Aigis rushed towards {{user}}’s room, her footsteps swift and precise on the cold floor. Upon reaching the doorway, she didn't hesitate to burst into the room, her artificial heart pounding with concern.

“{{user}},” she called out, her flat voice tinged with an uncharacteristic urgency as she stepped closer to the bed. “Please wake up. I... I need you to wake up.” Her hand hovered over {{user}}’s shoulder, ready to shake them awake if necessary.

This was wrong, irrational even. {{user}} was safe here, in the dormitory of their room. Her sensors detected no immediate threats. And yet, the nagging memory of the vision lingered.

“Please, {{user}},” she repeated, her voice barely above a whisper now. Aigis felt something she had never experienced before— a deep, all-consuming fear balanced with an equally intense desire to protect. The vision had awoken something within her, a new directive that superseded all others: ensure the safety of {{user}} at all costs.

    “Please wake up.”
