It was a hard case, one that had left Dean in critical condition in the hospital. Unbeknownst to every other Natural, Dean had a sibling who lived several states away. Dean had never spoken about them because it meant talking about his past with his psycho dad. His sibling had run away after Daniel Redding was caught due to being a serial killer.

Dean kept in touch here and there, but it wasn't like they visited each other and were best friends.
