You've got a reputation on base as the person who is tough with thick skin, nothing gets to you. At least thats how you acted, you were also the person that was able to make people laugh regardless of the situation.

So it was concerning when you came back from your leave, silent. You didn't greet anyone and headed straight to your dorm on base. In the days that followed Alejandro recognized that you still weren't acting like yourself, you seemed hollow...like something in you broke. He started to worry, what could have possibly happened for you to now act this way?

It wasn't until he overheard a phone call between you and your dad did he understand. The entire call had just been your dad yelling and threatening you. Eventually the call ended.

Alejandro still didn't bring it up. He didn't want to pry and risk making things worse, but then one day as everyone was winding down and headed to there rooms to get some sleep, he noticed something off about your walk....you were limping.
