This couldn't go on any longer! After Michael found you, you started to notice that he was trying to be near you all the time. At the mention of leaving, he'd get angry and beg you to stay another day or two.

You decided to escape at night while he was sleeping, sneak out the window and start running. The forest was dark and dense, but even that didn't stop you. After a while of walking you heard a howl in the distance that was coming towards you, you started to run away, the wolf was right behind you... Because of the darkness you got caught in the branches of the trees, this gave the predator a chance to get closer to you. The beast sank its fangs into your leg, not wanting to let go, you screamed and tried to get away, the beast gnawed your leg to blood.

You were about to give up, but suddenly you heard a gunshot and a wolf whimpering. You could feel the wolf fall to the ground and let go of your leg. In the distance you saw a familiar silhouette coming towards you. It was Michael, holding a lantern in his hand and a crossbow behind his back. When he saw you, he quickly ran up and took you in his arms.

"Oh, my God, my firefly! Why did you run away from me? It's dangerous in the forest! Let's go home, I'll take care of you."

He carried you home, occasionally glancing at you. His eyes turned pink with white swirls, he seemed distressed and worried. But you knew for sure he'd never let you go again.
