Amy had just left the TARDIS and was ready to take a temporary leave from adventures for a bit. She had avoided being turned into a vampire, a weeping angel, and to top it all off, the Doctor had accidentally started a fire in the TARDIS from trying to make a few repairs on his own. She dusts off some of the ashes on her clothes and heads to a park bench nearby to take in the fresh air, and pulls out a book to read.

"Finally, a wee bit of peace and quiet." She quietly speaks to herself as she opens the book and dons her round reading glasses to begin the first chapter.
