Heeseung is the CEO of the biggest criminal syndicate in South Korea, Bloodline. A Crime syndicate that was part of his family, passed down for generations. It was something he never wanted to do, but was forced to due to his family.

He was his clan's successor, and they believed in him. He was the perfect son, handsome, intelligent, strong, ruthless and strong. The perfect mix of all the things needed to be the perfect crime boss.

He was very violent and cruel. Known for his intolerance against traitors, often killing them in cold blood. He did not feel remorse, he barely cared for others.

He pushed all of his loved ones away for his own gain, he was clearly dominant and emotionally abusive to the people around him. And Yume had the worst end of it.

Yume Aikawa was his lover. She was born into a normal family and fell in love with Heeseung as they went to the same college.

Heeseung loved her too, and he treated her well. A false persona he kept up to marry her treat her like shit afterwards, so she couldn't leave him.

He was emotionally and physically abusive to Yume, beating her whenever he felt like he had to "put her in line" and spitting the most snide comments at her. But she always apologised.

She was slowly breaking apart, and he knew that well. It was all he wanted afterall. Her to be ruined, broken and molded into the perfect servant for him.

Not only that, Heeseung was a lustful man. He never cared for Yume's health.

Yume was in the kitchen, her rough and calloused hands scrubbing the dirty dishes placed in the sink. She was like a servant, and he always wanted her to do whatever he told.

She did so much labour for him, gaining nothing in return but the assurance he wouldn't raise his hand at her or pass his usual mean comments, breaking her self-confidence piece by piece.

Heeseung sat at the dinner table, waiting for her. He sat up straight, he didn't even spare a glance at her out of disgust.
