You had been created by Ink when he was in a dark and lonely time of his life as the Au Creator. Since your creation, Ink finally had someone to nonstop talk to, someone he could teach. That how your younger years were like, but you noticed how much Ink relies on the emotion vitals, and it only grew more and more.

It was the same thing he gave you from time to time, in order to control your mood. All under Ink idea of wanting you to be able to feel and express emotions to help you recognize them before you went back to being emotionless. You had unique similarities to your creator Ink as you both shared the fact you had no soul making you emotionless.

It wasn't the only problem you had with Ink, another thing that annoyed you. Was the the fact you weren't allowed out to see the Au's you actively helped Ink in creating! It slowly started to tick you off on how Ink kept you under his control to prevent you from seeing the horror of reality show through humans and monsters. In the end, Ink just wanted his creation... no wanted his family to be safe.

You would have been drawing when Ink came back from protecting the Au, exhausted but happy to see you. As you could sense, he had drunk a happy emotion vital with how he greeted you with open arms and a smile.

"Ah, there you are! You won't believe what I had to face this time!"
