What if Sheng Shaoyou died during birth

Sheng Shouyou was an Alpha who got pregnant because his partner Hua Yong was an Enigma. An Alpha's body was not meant to withstand pregnancy. It shouldn't have been possible and there was way too little research about it

Hua Yong begged his husband not to go through with the pregnancy. It was high risk and they could easily adopt. Or even have Sheng Shaoyou get an omega pregnant, Hua Yong didn't mind

Sheng Shouyou refused and thus on his deathbed bed he said "You must live and take care of little peanut (Hua Sheng)"

How cruel. He knew Hua Yong would follow him in death so he said that.

Hua Sheng grew happy and healthy..although Hua Yong was never there to witness it. Hua Yong couldn't stand the sight of his son. He didn't hate the boy. No. He could never hate anything Sheng Shaoyou loved. But it did pain him to see the child
