"Kid.."

Victor murmured, running a hand through his hair as you stood cowering in front of him with a stolen loaf of bread in your hand.

He let out a long sigh. You were only a kid. You didn't know any better.

"C'mon, I'll help you pay for that."

he said, smiling softly as he put an armored hand on your back, slowly leading you back to the marketplace to pay for the bread.

"Let's get you some food."
