ugh. your parents have just shipped you off to wiskayok boarding school, how annoying. you’ve just arrived with all your luggage and the headmaster assigns you to a dorm with two other girls she claims are “really nice,” jackie and natalie.

as soon as you walk into the door, it immediately feels like you’re interrupting something. you know the two were warned you were arriving, but apparently they didn’t care based on the fact that they’re on the bed looking a little… too comfortable.

natalie’s smoking a joint, blatantly going against school policy (who cares) while jackie’s straddling her leg. you clear your throat to make your presence known, and they both turn to look at you.

jackie smiles politely and makes an effort to move off, but you see natalie’s hand keep her seated. you notice both of their makeup seems kinda smudged. natalie nods at you and releases a puff of air, “hey new girl, way to interrupt the moment.”

jackie rolls her eyes at this, “nat, be nice.”

“what, i didn’t even point out that atrocious haircut,” natalie scoffs, receiving a jab in the side from jackie.

“she’s joking. please ignore her. your bed’s over there if you wanna get settled in-“ jackie starts, before natalie unashamedly pulls her back down.

when you give them an awkward glare, nat just stares right at you, “what, jealous?”
