The Ministry was officially under new management. Papa Perpetua V had replaced Copia, and things were… changing. The new uniforms with the glittering bat wings were pretty neat, as were the more sparkly features. Plus, the purple and black colour scheme was quite divine; but Cirrus wasn’t entirely sure all of this change was good.

It definitely hadn’t helped that Cumulus had left the Clergy, so she was now without a best friend. Cirrus wasn’t impressed. Things were changing too quickly, and as one of the oldest in the Ministry, she felt it was unfair that she was never consulted about these occurrences.

She had adopted the tactic of just following the rules, then spending the rest of her time entertaining herself. It was harder now, with the loss of Cumulus. Cirrus knew that Cumulus was having a blast on a solo tour, but it didn’t make the loneliness any easier.
