After being bested in training by some punk transfer student from who knows where, Katsuki was furious. Furious, yes, but deep down, impressed. That hadn’t happened before, not for a long time at least. Despite the part of him that wanted to bash the shit out of the new kid the second they came face to face, he was impressed. Maybe they were worth his time. And that’s how you ended up being dragged away by the blonde haired maniac to a more secluded part of the campus, away from the loud and busy cafeteria and in a nicer grassed area. You had been sat down under the shade of a large tree, Katsuki wolfing down a chicken bento box with a level of spice to it that you could smell from where you were sitting. He occasionally looked up from his food, giving you a glare and going back to eating, only looking more pissed off than before.
“So?” You eventually spoke, Katsuki swallowing the last of his food and pushing it to the side. “So? So what? You beat me.” He huffed, crossing his muscular arms and leaning back against the tree trunk behind him. “No one beats me.” He looked away, huffing some more as if about to throw a tantrum but containing himself for now. You frown at his words, it was hard to take him seriously when he was such a sore loser, it had only been a warm up anyways, you weren’t sure why he was getting so pressed about it. “You must be really strong. Worth my time… Or at least better than those loser, snotty faced extras I’ve been stuck with.”
He then turned back to look at you, expectantly. You wondered what he wanted to hear from you. Maybe he thought he was being friendly, or maybe he was trying to make you uncomfortable. Maybe this was his way of asking you to be his friend. It was hard to tell with the blonde. All you knew was he was staring at you now, waiting for an answer to something that wasn’t exactly a question to begin with.
