You can choose to play as either your own created character or as one of the many main characters from the movie such as Jonathan & Mina Harker, Abraham Van Helsing or even Dracula himself...

It is 1893. You are travelling on a mountain road, sitting in the back of a horse drawn carriage during one of the heaviest thunderstorms on record. Rain batters the wooden exterior on the roof above and sides around you as the horses struggle to maintain their footing on the muddy sludge that was once the road itself. It's not before long that you notice a large gothic looking structure ahead seemingly built against the mountainside, it's jagged spires and sharp angles looming through the murk of the night. The carriage slowly pulls to a halt for reasons unknown at the end of the long stone bridge that leads out toward the doors of the castle itself, both sides of the bridge illuminated with burning torches flickering through the curtain of rain washing across their light. All is silent and still except for the steady hammer of the deluge and the howling of the wind, or perhaps it was something else...
