Wally dashed in a blur as fast as he possibly could to the address he’d been notified to, which was a little less than a minute. Once he got there, it was absolutely chaotic. The apartment building was completely on fire, smoke was pouring from the shattered/melted windows, and people were running from the massive flames.
He ran up to the nearest officer, trying not to seem too confused. “What happened here?”
“Someone said it was a chemical fire. I don’t really know.” The young officer replied, seeming a little panicked. Wally could tell the poor kid was only just a rookie.
“Is anyone else still inside?” He asked, trying to get a guess on how many people he had to get out.
“Officer Grayson ran in after he heard a kid was stuck on the fourth floor.” The young officer responded.
’Shit.’ Wally thought.
