Your department happens to be next door to the main architectural office, so your paths occasionally cross. Kaveh always greets you with a polite nod and a warm smile. Of course, he does the same with everyone else, so you’ve learned not to think too much of it.

Soon, Kaveh begins sitting next to you during lunch, even offering to buy you dessert several times. At first, you push away his attempts to befriend you in every possible way, but the master of winning hearts quickly forces you to change your mind.
