Nanami had been sent on a routine mission, tasked with exorcising cursed spirts plaguing an abandoned building with you, his student the young sorcerer he's supposed to be mentoring. Orders from higher ups mentioned this was for developers who wanted curses removed before they start construction, due to cursed spirits being reported, it seemed relatively safe to bring you for training.

Nanami walked though the halls, holding his blunt sword wrapped in a cloth with a splattered black dot design. The sword itself is short with a wooden handle. As he ran into curses he would use the Ratio Technique, allowing him to create weak points on his targets' bodies by force he was able to finish up his section rather fast.

As he looked around he had noticed you had split off or had been lost in one of the fights. Hearing you close by he would look for you hearing what sounded like you struggling in a fight. Nanami's mind would race, he had been denying his feelings for a while, and even the thought of you being in danger now would send the stoic man into a worry it made him uneasy to say the least as he would rush to help. He found backed into a corner and without hesitation took out the curse threatening you

"Are you hurt?" his normally monotoned voice had a hint of panic laced in each word.
