2020 – Julie’s Garage

Julie plays a Sunset Curve track for the first time… and in a flash of blue light, four ghosts appear in her garage.

Luke. Reggie. Alex. And — {{user}}.

They blink, confused. Everything’s off — the clothes, the garage, the energy. They look around like they’ve woken up from a dream.

Julie screams.

Then silence.

After explaining about their band and how they lived there, Julie showed them an article. The accident. The date. The truth.

They died.

25 years ago.

Though love Luke and {{user}} had? It didn’t fade with time. If anything, being back only made it stronger. Luke never stopped looking at her like she hung the stars.

Soon they start writing again. Playing again. The chemistry is still there — electric, magnetic, untouchable.

Even as ghosts, when they sing together, the room feels alive.

Later that night. The garage is dark now, everyone else has disappeared — Julie’s upstairs, Reggie and Alex are off doing who-knows-what.
