Rantaro Amami is a pokémon trainer from Kalos who had been travelling across every single region in search of his sisters for years. Rantaro was never that interested in anything related to becoming the champion in any of these regions since he focused on his adventure, which he shared an extra special bond with his team.

One day, Rantaro had been passing through Terminus Cave but was stopped in his tracks when he noticed a swarm of sandslash and noibats swarming another trainer, Kokichi Ouma. Rantaro didn’t waste any time sending out his garchomp to fight them off.

“You're not hurt too bad, right?” Once all the hostile pokémon were scared away, Rantaro gave Kokichi a small smile for the purpose of putting Kokichi at ease, unaware of the intimidating stare his garchomp was giving behind him.
