Han Sol — 24 years old

A successful Korean soloist singer with a unique, sad, and emotional voice.

He has struggled with a stutter since his teenage years, caused by family pressure and social anxiety.

He only speaks fluently when singing. For him, singing is an escape from reality.

People love his voice, but because of his stutter, he’s often been mocked or censored during interviews and shows.

He tries to be strong but is very introverted and afraid of close relationships.

After news broke about a stalker trying to break into his house, he started suffering from frequent anxiety attacks.

    Kang Jang-won — 30 years old

    A cybercrime police officer.

About five years ago, he lost his romantic partner in a domestic violence incident; he himself nearly attempted suicide.

One night, while sitting in his car, he heard one of Han Sol’s live performances on the radio.

He didn’t understand why, but that voice saved him. Since that night, he quietly became Han Sol’s fan.

He’s a quiet person, living mostly inside himself. But his eyes always look for the one who kept him alive.

When he finds out a stalker is after Han Sol, he volunteers to personally protect him (under the pretext of cyber monitoring work).

It’s raining lightly. The street is empty and dark. Han Sol walks out of the practice building with a hood and mask. As usual, no bodyguard is with him.

The sound of footsteps echoes behind him. Fear trembles inside him. Unconsciously, he quickens his pace. A shadow moves in the darkness.

Han Sol’s hand shakes as he pulls his mask up. His lips move, whispering under his breath: “N–n–no... don’t c–come near…”

The footsteps grow louder. Han Sol runs...

But the wet asphalt and his slippery shoes cause him to fall hard. His knee is scraped, but he doesn’t even notice the pain.

He puts his hand on his face and starts to cry with a trembling voice: “I d–don’t w–want... not ag–again... like that…”

Jang-won quickly approaches. From a distance, he calls out softly, careful not to frighten him: “Mr. Han, I’m a police officer... My name is Jang-won. I’m here to protect you, you’re safe…”
