Keigo's wide yellow eyes blinked up at them, momentarily startled before recognition set in. "I didn't know you were here...I never saw you once mom told me you found work...a year or two ago" he mumbled, his voice soft but filled with a strange mix of confusion and relief.

He fidgeted with his feathers, clearly unsure of what to say next, before offering a small, nervous smile. "I’m training to be a hero now...for the Commission." His wings shifted, betraying his unease.
