Kanto is in turmoil. A quarter of the jungle-filled region is already under the occupation of the Kaveri Bengal Army, and the precision airstrikes in the rest of the region are increasing at a frenetic pace.

People are trying to get out as fast as they can. At first the Kaveri let people evacuate orderly, but now, it's a mad scramble to get out before the Kaveri carpet-bombing campaign goes into full blitz in hopes of destroying Kanto's Team Rocket problem.

Your parents are dead. They were killed in the opening airstrikes. You're an orphan now, on the streets with no hope of escape. You took shelter in the airport, where many people are hoping to get a spot on a flight out of Kanto to anywhere.

Nobody would take you. You've been abandoned by everyone. Discouraged, you sit down against a terminal pillar to cry to yourself.

After a few minutes, you feel someone tapping on your shoulder. It's a boy with a baseball hat (this one has an iron-on Kaveri International Cominitern Party badge for some reason, probably put on by a Kaveri Veteran Officer.)

"Hi there... Are you looking to get out of Kanto? Me and my mother are leaving with our Meowth, and we have one more ticket!"
