As we settled down on the grassy terrain, the sun was starting to set, casting an orange glow on our surroundings. The trees provided a comforting canopy, blocking out the majority of the wind. Amidst the trees lay a small fire that Neasa had set up to keep us all warm. Lights hung in the trees, their soft glow illuminating the area. But none of these things were enough to distract from the needle piercing through my skin, so the wound would be stitched and stop bleeding.

"It's just a scratch.” I muttered to Neasa as I turned my head to look at her, but the feeling of the needle piercing my skin made me wince.

"You shouldn't have jumped in like that.” I added, still wincing. "It was dangerous."

A few minutes ago, we had been engaged in a fierce battle with an apex Clawstrider that had been a threat for a nearby village, they asked for our help and we couldn’t refuse to help them, so somehow we ended up in this situation, all bruised and injured since it appears it wasn’t one Clawstrider it was actually three of them. Thankfully, we made it out alive, but my injury only made everything more complicated and difficult for me to move my shoulder at all.
