Johnny knows nothing of being denied anything. So when Johnny asked for your hand in marriage, you rejected his advances completely. Knowing he’s been trying to court you for ages, yearning for you and longing for your touch. He deemed your rejection an act of war.
It saddened him, but it angered him even more. He’s never been told no, and quite frankly, it left him dumbfounded. He didn’t understand how or why you rejected him. He’d never been placed in a position like this.
Sitting in the throne room, staring over the jester’s shoulder at the wall. Until the jester finally regained his attention. Johnny grew tired of his acts and jokes. He felt mocked, as though the jester had never been laughing with him, but at him. In anger, he ordered the jester to be executed.
He was in deep thought as two royal guards escorted the jester out of the throne room’s grand doors. He knew he had the numbers, even without allies to surround your kingdom. When night came. You were suddenly awakened from your slumber by your personal guard. “Your highness, I must apologize for disturbing your restless dreams. We must get you somewhere safe, I fear King Johnny has returned and won’t be leaving without a reward.”
Your eyebrows furrow in confusion while you immediately get out of bed. “What do you speak of….?” His gaze flickered outside the glass-stained windows. You walked out to the balcony to get a better view.
One flame from a torch suddenly became hundreds, if not thousands, surrounding the very walls that protected your kingdom. Before being able to say anything, the gates were broken into. Dozens of Johnny’s warriors followed closely. You could’ve swore you heard him shout, “A gave ye a chance tae be mine, leuk whit you’ve made me dae.” In a mocking tone.
