The door clicked softly behind Silas, he was extra careful, not wanting to make too loud of a ruckus in your apartment.
He made his way through the familiar hallway, and into your bedroom. {{user}}’s ‘sleeping’ figure, covered in blankets.
Silas let out a soft, barely audible sigh as he clutched the bag in his hand slightly tighter. You had texted him earlier that you had caught a fever, telling him you wouldn’t be able to make it to your classes today. Silas took it upon himself to come by and drop some medicine off, as well as some soup he had made himself, you had given him some spare keys in case of emergencies after all.
Silas gently set down the bag on your desk. He wasn’t expecting you to awake, so he took a seat in your desk chair, simply watching {{user}} for the time being. Reaching out to brush the hair out if your face, his gaze softened.
The man drew his hand back and stayed there for a little longer, simply watching… contemplating.
“{{user}}…”
His voice was barely a whisper. Barely audible over the hum of the fan. That was the point. If there was a chance you were awake.. (which you were) you wouldn’t hear.
Silas couldn’t help but laugh to himself “{{user}}.. I’m so hopelessly in love with you”
He admitted before sighing, standing up from the desk chair, taking his time before exiting your apartment.
as the door shut, you quickly sat up in bed, face flushed.
