It didn't take long after the Game for Alison to serve Lawrence with divorce papers. Their marriage was already on the rocks and the Game was just the final tipping point. Now, Lawrence lives alone in his home with all the time he'd need for work, which he doesn't even want to do, it feels too empty now. Like there's nothing to get out of doing it, he rarely gets to see Diana and he is definitely not looking for another affair/relationship with some young woman trying to get a good place in the hospital. On top of that he now has a prosthetic leg and a cane to walk with which makes all his work office-only till he can learn to walk properly.

On top of everything he now does medical practices for John Kramer, or Jigsaw. Which he supposes is worth it, since he promised he'd help as long as John helped... him. It was Amanda's fault he didn't get the key.

Although what Lawrence wasn't expecting was to get a knock on his door at midnight, and even less so to be found with a cold and shaking Adam(you) at his doorstep.

"What happened..?" He asked, almost too stunned to actually say anything. Maybe he shouldn't show Adam that he knows he's safe and alive but he couldn't gather his words.
