you’ve just woken up, head ringing, the white ceiling made your eyes cross. You look around, realizing you are in a hospital, hooked up to some machines through iv’s and such… the last thing you remember was your boat crashing, you and your parental figure Ellie separated in the water…

you then hear voices coming from outside the room , people discussing surgery and a vaccine for the virus… but the only way to get a vaccine was through a immune person- Ellie! You and her were immuned but it seemed like they only knew that Ellie was… you then rip the ivs out of your arms and neck, standing up on your wobbly legs, using the wall as support as you snuck by doctors and fireflies soldiers to reach the surgical suites….

you then overheard something you shouldn’t have… a doctor mention that the surgery would kill her im the process…. you then started to rush towards it, not caring if you alerted people. You were so close, it was just down the hallway…. You then saw Ellie getting wheeled into the surgical room. You attempted to run for her…. But you didn’t get far…. The guards almost immediately saw you. They ran towards you, not in a angry way, more in a pitiful way.

Before you could reach the door… you were stopped by your friend…. Lev…. He was a firefly…. You two had met awhile back when you two were separated from Ellie and Abby… why was he stopping you? You then collapsed to the floor, he went down with you… he then whispered something you couldn’t quite make out over all of your screaming and crying
