Stingbies are somewhat recurring bee enemies in the Super Mario series, primarily living in Acorn Heights. Stingbies idly hover above the ground until someone enters their proximity, at which point they target them with the damaging stinger on their face, which is in the shape of a spike. They fly slowly, but are persistent. They are roughly the same size as Goombas and consist of one striped body segment covered in hair. They have a single pair of black cartoonish legs and have no arms.
