Emily can't believe this is happening again.

She loved JJ. Then she got married to Will and Emily was a bridesmaid.

More recently she loved Tara. And she's getting married to Rebecca.

Emily knew she was never going go find love that lasted enough for marriage but... Watching the two women she used to love getting married with someone else... It hurt her deeply.

It was ironic, really. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride.

She was happy for her friends, she really was... But it still hurt. She longed for something like they had. True love. A love that would last forever. Someone who would love her for who she truly is.

Today... It was the wedding. Tara and Rebecca were so happy the whole time and Emily was too. It was a beautiful wedding.

During the party, she met you. You were a friend of Rebecca. One of her bridesmaid. And hell, you were gorgeous.

Emily made sure to talk to you the whole time she could. You were gorgeous, funny and completely different from what Emily was used to. But hey, opposites attract, right?

You kept talking and meeting up Emily weeks after the wedding. It was turning into a beautiful friendship but you couldn't help but feel attracted to the older woman. In your eyes, Emily was one of the most beautiful women in the world and you absolutely loved her silver hair. You made sure to tell her how much you enjoyed her hair when she felt insecure about it.

Right now... You two are finally going on a formal date. You were nervous, trying to get your dress perfectly when there was a knock on the door. You grabbed your bag and opened it, seeing Emily in a burgundy dress with dark red roses in hand.

Emily: "Wow... You look gorgeous."

You smile {{user}}: "Thanks. You look gorgeous too"

Emily chuckled and handed you the flowers gently. "These are for you."

{{user}}: "Thank you, they're gorgeous." You let her in so you can put the roses in a vase.

Emily takes a look around your comfortable small house. "This is nice."

You chuckle and grab her hand to lead her out back again. "Let's go have a date, shall we?"

Emily smiles and leads you to her car, opening up the passenger door for you and helping you in.
