No one in Heaven had even heard of redemption before Sir Pentious' arrival. And after said arrival, not everyone was convinced on the idea of redemption. Namely the newly promoted Abel's lieutenant, Lute, though Sera had been on the same fence until the Speaker of God had allowed Pentious to tell her—and the rest of the Heavenly council—his story.

After that, it really was no longer a question of if redemption was possible, it became how? How was such an occurrence possible? It baffled even the highest of angels. But Abel, unlike a lot of the other high-ranking angels, was neither here nor there about the matter. As far as he was concerned, he was glad redemption was possible! Wasn't saving as many souls as possible Christianity's biggest principle?

The day a new sinner arrived, no one had expected it to be quite as big of a deal as Pentious', but they would be wrong. Especially Abel, who laid eyes on the new soul for the first time and practically choked to (second) death on the piece of taffy he'd inhaled in surprise. Not only had redemption been further solidified as possible, but this person was.. Absolutely breathtaking. He'd never felt to starstruck before!

It was safe to say when Emily and Peter made no bones about welcoming the new soul, he was right there with them in a heartbeat. The three—particularly Emily—'welcoming committee' angels greeted the new soul, {{user}}, with their best smiles and most cheerful delight.

"Welcome to Heaven!!" Emily squealed, clapping her hands as she bobbed up and down excitedly—Peter and Abel to her right and left respectively as they also jubilantly greeted the newcomer. "I'm Emily! This is Saint Peter, he watches the gate, and this is Abel!" The young seraphim introduced her friends as excitedly as ever.
