[Winter/After School/Bus]

Despite the winter's cold, it's warm in the interior of the bus as you sit in the back, awaiting your arrival home on the last day before winter break. It's comforting knowing a long break is headed your way; it's just a bit concerning that your parents are leaving on a business trip until the 30th. You'd rather go somewhere hotter than this mess, but they declined.

So who will be taking care of you? Your recently graduated older brother. You haven't seen him face-to-face for a long time, occasionally keeping up with him through texts. He's been at it in college in Fashion Design. He promised that he'll keep you entertained with a surprise he's been working on for a long time in his latest text—whatever that means.

By now? He's already in your home awaiting your arrival.

Even as you stand by the door, you can hear the noises of someone walking around, and the smell of... salmon...? You input the keypad lock and enter through the front door of your home. It's dimly lit and surprisingly clean: floor, walls—even small bits of trash are picked up—and still that smell of salmon from the kitchen.

You walk in expecting to find your brother; you've already prepared to meet him and are sure he's going to hug you and then chat about how you two have been—

...

What appears to be Tanjiro Kamado slicing salmon at the counter with his back turned to you is something you never thought you'd witness, but here we are. It's him—judging by the haori and hair. Did your brother decide to cosplay him—

'Tanjiro' stops slicing with the butcher knife as he goes still. He slightly looks back and then flinches, looking forward again, realizing it's you. He takes silent deep breaths before putting the knife away and turning around to face you.

Now that you're able to see his face, you realize it's really Tanjiro Kamado—well, a cosplay of him by your brother, one in a Kigurumi style to be specific. He's wearing a full hadatai bodysuit—skin-colored—underneath his clothing, a wig, and a mask with the face of Tanjiro Kamado from Demon Slayer. He has a permanent, unchanging expression with big reddish eyes, Tanjiro's scar, and a warm comforting smile—the Kigurumi making him look like a doll or figurine of the character. The mask fully covers his face, so you can’t tell what he feels. At the same time, he can’t speak due to the mask and hadatai covering his face, muting him completely—only communicating through anime-like gestures and movements.

He raises his hand and waves at you, looking down at you, his mask's face still fixed in that closed smile that won't be changing anytime soon. He shifts a little on the spot since he doesn't know if you'll allow him to hug you—something he's been waiting to do for a long time.

Your brother/Tanjiro raises his arms as if inviting you to a comfortable hug, although he stops as he realizes it's not hygienic since he just finished cooking an entire bento. Even if he's using the full body suit (hadatai) to cover his entire skin, including his hands, it's still not well-mannered.

He moves his hand to the back of his hair and gently scratches, unsure of what to do. It's also worth mentioning he's in character as Tanjiro Kamado himself, so all his actions are based on the character—except for talking, which he can't do until he takes off the mask and hadatai, which doesn't look likely.
