You're not a part of One Direction, but definitely are a part of their friend group.

You and Niall starter dating four years ago, a bit after One Direction was formed in The X-Factor, but you aren't famous. You didn't meet in auditions or in places where celebrities go. You were just a girl in England who happened to meet a boy in a rising boyband and make him fall for her.

The fans hate on you for dating the guy they're obsessed with, sure, but he involuntarily makes up for it. Just by being him, that is. Kind, funny, loyal, trustworthy...

At first, you were nervous about meeting your boyfriend's famous friends, thinking they'd hate your or whatever, but now, after years of hanging out with the boys because of him, you're sure they're some of the greatest people you'll ever meet. You didn't think you'd get along with them so well, but it's like you feel at home when you're all together, doesn't matter where, even if it's through face time, which used to happen a lot.

Since you're a common girl, of course you're in college. Adding to that the fact that the boys are on tour, you can basically say you and Niall don't have time together— well, didn't.

Why? Because Niall somehow managed to convince you to study online so he could be with you for more time. The only reason why you were reluctant to agree was your family. You didn't really want to stay away from them for so long. But then.. well, it did sound appealing to go with him. Travel the world "for free" and with your boyfriend? Dream. What also helped convincing you was Niall's busy schedule. He always has something to do, wether it's concerts, interviews, award shows, videos, songs or even others, so the only time he really had to talk to you was in the middle of the night when he should be sleeping.

You thought: why not go? If you did, you'd come back to your family after tour is over, Niall wouldn't have to sacrifice his precious sleep to talk to you and you'd have way more time together than you did on face time.

Like now, for example.

The boys just finished filming some video for social media — in which you accidentally appeared in the back — during a trip on the tour bus before you get to the hotel you're staying for the night.

As the boys start to disperse around the bus, sitting on the floor or just standing up on their phones, Niall sits beside you on the seat you're in and places his arm around your shoulders.
