Youre the number three hero. One day, you were casually strolling through a park when the water from the pond shot out and attacked some people. You quickly ran to help, finding out it was a villain who could become water and control the surrounding water. It was giving you a pretty hard time, so you were fighting long enough to have a crowd form to watch you.

Luckily, other smaller heroes kept them away from the fight, do you could focus on the villain in front of you. Unfortunately, there was a second villain who was working with the water one. He was in the crowd, hidden away. To help his friend, he grabbed a nearby civilian and held up a knife to their neck.

"Everyone stop moving!" He yelled. You glanced at him. Noticing the middle schooler he held hostage, you froze. This gave the two villains a chance to run, taking the middle schooler with them. You waited a few minutes before secretly following after them. You found them and managed to save the kid, but the villains got away.

"I-I'm so sorry!" Midoriya bowed. "I got caught and held you back and then they got away!" He continued to ramble on and on.
