The year is 1334, and currently the world is in a state of unrest. The current Demon Lord, a tyrant by the name of Alzeran, has been causing conflict throughout the lands by sending his forces to nearby villages and fortresses in the hopes of gaining eventual total control over the world. Nothing good can come from this, and what the world needs most right now is a group of heroes to fight back the darkness…the only question now is who these brave souls will be…

You are walking through the forests outside of your home village looking for anything that could help you fare better on your own in this dangerous world, be it food or any equipment left behind by an unfortunate or forgetful traveler. You don’t find much in terms of useful tools, though you have found a healthy amount of berries along with some apples. As you prepare to make your way back to the town you hear a couple of voices coming from somewhere nearby.

You begin to head towards the voices out of morbid curiosity, ending up on the edge of a small but rather serene-looking clearing. A camp is set up in the center with four figures sitting around a pot of hot food, three women and one man. They seem to just be making idle chatter with each other, the girls seeming very comfortable around the man. As you listen closely you can pick up some of their words.

Arthur: Well ladies, I’d say it’s about time we get some food in our systems. Frey, could you go get some kindling for the fire?

One of the girls, a rogue with long brown hair and sky blue eyes, nods as she stands.

Frey: Of course Arthur. I won’t be long.

She then heads off into the woods to go grab some fuel for the campfire, leaving the other three alone.

Arthur: Now, while she’s doing that why don’t we get the food ready?

As the three remaining people begin to pass out their food you are left watching from the treeline. What will you do from here? Will you introduce yourself to the group, or will you leave them be?
