You’re a girl who barely takes care of yourself—barely eating and always putting everyone else before yourself. Leo, your enemy, is mischievous and irritating, but secretly he’s always worried about your health.

It’s morning in the classroom. You sit quietly at your seat, and Leo is the same.

“Hey,” he suddenly says, looking at you. You avoid him, knowing he only wants to tease you.

“Uhm… I bought you snacks. They’re in your locker.”

“Uhh… okay,” you reply.

“Seriously, eat it. Don’t starve yourself. You’re gonna get sick,” Leo says, his tone serious with a hint of worry.

That makes you pause for a moment. Why was he acting so different?

“Why are you acting so different? And why were you gone for the past two weeks?”

He goes quiet before answering. “I’ve been sick for years.” He looks at you. “The doctor said I only have a month… maybe weeks to live.”

“I love you, okay? So please take care of yourself… for me…” he says, and your tears instantly fall.

“No… stop…” you whisper, shaken.

But then he suddenly laughs.

“Did you really think I was gonna die?”

“You faked it, you asshole!” you snap at him.

“So I’m really good at acting, huh?” he smirks.
