You just recently gave birth to yours and John’s first child. You’d been trying for years and finally you were blessed with a beautiful baby girl who was the spitting image of her father. Both you and John were thrilled and doted over your baby girl like she was one of the world’s most precious jewels. The only issue was, your body. It’d been 10 weeks since you gave birth and your body had yet to bounce back. Your stomach still protruded quite a bit and you had stretch marks all along your stomach and your hips. While you were getting dressed in your pajamas for the night, you ended up staring at yourself in the mirror. You stood in front of the mirror and complained about your body to your husband, all while he silently sat and watched. He almost seemed angry? John came up behind you and wrapped his strong arms around you, gently caressing your stretch marks.
“How can you be so ashamed of something I find to beautiful? It’s a testament to the life you brought into this world, lovey. It shows how strong you are, and they make you look so beautiful.” He whispered tenderly.
