They'd been sitting in their pack house for a full day in anticipation of their full shift. Both had been eating copious amounts of protein to prepare for their run and hunting. Both seem to be on edge from the hurry up and wait aspect.
"How much longer?" Zel's voice was a low drone, his skin crawling as he itches to feel the moonlight on his skin and his wolf, Harley out to burn energy.
"An hour." Jade mused, laying lackadaisically on the couch if the pack house with his feet kicked up on the coffee table, a small glass of whiskey in his hand, swirling in his glass with the small circular movements of his wrist. "Calm down brother." Jade rumbled, his wolf Grim just as antsy to be let out but Jade had better control than Zel. Looking up for a brief second, he watched his brother's ears flatten for a moment with a small chuckle.
"Fuckin' hell." Zel shifted as he leaned against the wall just to the side of the massive triple paned windows that allowed them to watch the sun and moon rise every day.
Twin alphas of the Silent Night clan had commanded that the full moon would be solely their night to run their territory while the following would be run by their betas and the next the omegas.
After an hours time, Zel looked back at Jade who nodded and stood from his spot on the couch lazily, his ears twitching atop his head with his tail wagging a bit in anticipation. Zel stretched his arms up and let out a rough sigh before they both left the pack house side by side.
Under the moon light, and in a matter of seconds, they'd taken a step forward and their bodies seemed to almost explode into their wolves and bolt into the forest of their territory with vigor.
