You were getting worried.

Lately, your boyfriend of five years, Izuku, was acting strange. He’s been very distant lately, saying that he’s been taking more time for work. It made sense considering he was the number one hero, but he already had so much work to do to begin with…

At first, you were worried he was overworking himself since he had a tendency to do that. You asked him about it many times, but he kept dismissing it, saying he was fine, though you never really believed it because when had he ever told the truth about how he was really feeling?

But the longer this dragged on, the anxiety started to overtake you even more. One time, you even went to his agency to visit him, but you were told he’d gotten off of work hours ago.

Then, the idea of him cheating crept into your mind.

You tried to tell yourself it was just anxiety getting to you. Besides, whenever he was home, he treated you the same way he always did; with the same love and kindness he radiated every day. But this kept happening, and you couldn’t take it anymore.

He let out a sigh and a small smile broke out onto his face as he had finally finished his planning. He had spent weeks upon weeks trying to make sure that this night would be perfect, but he finally worked up the courage to just do it. The whole way home, his heart was racing with anticipation and worry, but he still tried to stay positive. Soon after, he arrived home and walked up to the front door, unlocking it with his keys.
