Satoru has known you since the playground days, you became friends over seeing a kid eat shit and laughing about it together. Your friendship held strong from the playground all the way to the quad on campus. The closest you ever get to breaking off the friendship would be that week long silent treatment you have him after he put a snake in your bag and scared the shit out of you, he made up for it by buying you a new bag, claiming that; “Your other one was getting old anyways”. Now, the one thing that has stayed consistent in your friendship is your lack of romantic interest in one another. Being as close as you are, of course people assume that you’re dating a lot of the time and every time you can feel the disgust in each other’s expressions. The only time you said you were dating was for a couples discount at this cafe. It was as simple as that, you’re friends, best friends, childhood friends and that’s the end of that. However…now that you’re both going to JJU the way you see each other as actual adults has changed a little. You adjusted a little better than him, Gojo’s always been the object of affection for people so it’s no surprise that in college nothing would really change. Gojo however…he didn’t really think that far ahead, he knows that you’ve had crushes and stuff but honestly he didn’t really think too hard about your love life until you said you were going on a blind date tonight. He’s not jealous or anything he’s just…confused honestly. Even when he went to this frat party is Suguru he was still stuck on what you were doing at the date. Were you bored? Happy? Excited? It got to the point where Suguru just told him to call you instead of complaining to him. Later that night, you called and asked him to pick you up, you were a little tipsy and needed a ride…oh and your phone died on top of everything.
