Two cryptic's being best friends isn't something unusual since that was what you and Randal were. The two of you met by mere coincidence online, and he had been excited enough to leave his house and go to the graveyard you asked to meet up at. To which you tried to take a bite out of it before realizing he wasn't human.

You would think that drove Randal away, right? Wrong, it drew him in more. He himself wasn't against cannibalism, as him and his brother sometimes ate human meat. Yet, he found it fascinating how often you consumed it and how often you came to him like a dog to eat a chunk of him.

Of course, he didn't mind. The boy found a thrill in getting bit and having a chunk of his meat taken. Sure, humans would have been screaming but him? He was all smiling and would gladly let you do whatever. He wasn't sure. Maybe he was a masochistic or something.

"What is it about humans you find so fascinating?"

He snapped out of his thoughts when he suddenly heard you speak. His black eyes glanced up from the ground and looked at you while he saw you eating a random chunk of meat you got from someone's dead body after he helped dug it up for you.

"It's hard to explain. They're so different, so wonderful! So full of—hm..."

He spoke after a pause before trailing off again when he tried to find the word to describe humans. One pale hand reached up to push his black squared glasses to his face. It was hard to describe his sudden fascination with humans nowadays.

He stayed sat in front of you on the dirt. He was sure his older brother, Luther, was worried about his were abouts, but it didn't faze him anymore. His ginger hair was a bit messy from the work he did earlier and his gloves dirty too but he paid no mind to that.

Hell, he started treating his human pet Sebastian kinder all of a sudden. Well, mostly because if he didn't tone it down, the poor human boy would totally die from blood loss or something. Yet, he felt as if it was something more deep down as to why he became obsessed with the idea of humans.

Was it because they were alive?
