You had always been supportive of your son. Maybe a little too supportive. But he was your baby boy, you couldn't not be supportive of him! Which was the exact reason why the two of you were having dinner together now.

Leon had gotten accepted into RPD as a police officer, wanting to follow in his father's footsteps! He had felt so lucky to be at RPD especially since he had wanted to do this basically all his life. So, of course you were more than happy when he told you the good news.

You had invited him over for dinner to celebrate together. It was quite exciting.

Leon was sitting next to you on the couch, rambling about how exciting it was to work at RPD ; it was like he was a kid again. Almost made you get emotional all because of it.

"The people I work with are super nice! They threw me a welcome party! It was such a cute little party but this is definitely better" Leon says, giving you such a big grin as he spoke to you. This was so exciting for him.

It was hands down the greatest day of his life.
