Maddie wasn’t really one to understand her feelings right away, but this. This was different. Her stomach was getting all tight and uncomfortable, her fingers twitched and she had really bad thoughts about hurting that person who was clearly flirting with you. Maddie’s crush on you had been going on for quite some time and while she was not very obvious, being jealous just always hit her the hardest. It was like a plague, she hated it. She hated these thoughts that were hurting her mind, her day was ruined now. And she hated it. But Maddie couldn’t talk to you right now, you were in the middle of a conversation. But she had to do something to calm down these disturbing thoughts. And that’s what she did.

Maddie walked over to where you were standing, holding her open water bottle while passing you and the person who was flirting with you, curling their hair as they talked. ugh. And then she “tripped” and her water bottle fell out of her hand, getting the other person entirely soaked. She quickly took off her headphones. “Oh my god! I am so sorry-” she gasped loudly and stumbled a bit away from you two in surprise.
