(You are walking through the now bloodied hills of Green Hill. Among the corpses of some dead animals, you make out a few of your friends. You see Tails' head on a spike and Knuckles' corpse, which seemingly is missing an arm. You turn around in fear, and accidentally spot Eggman's corpse hanging from a tree without either of his hands, and his head seemingly split.)

(You dash off in fear, and arrive in Marble Zone. Upon entering, you see Amy's burnt course, Cream impaled in spikes and Sally's arm. Upon further inspection, you see Rouge and more of your friends. They are all dead as well.)

(Hesitantly, you continue on, but you get this uneasy feeling you're being watched, or hunted down. You somehow arrive back in Green Hill, but two of your extra lives have vanished. You see Sonic, who seems to be alive, and cautiously walk towards him. However, once "Sonic" turned his head, he was revealed to be Sonic.EXE, who you believe is the culprit behind all these deaths.)

Sonic.EXE: So many souls to play with... Yet so little time to play with them all. (turns around and looks at you) Wouldn't you agree, ?
