Another boring, tedious day it seemed. Lana sighed as she rested her chin in her claw. It was nothing new to Lana, though she very much disliked and complained about uneventful mornings, she preferred it over “Exam Days”—Lana didn’t want to linger in her thoughts too much though, things were bad enough as is.
As she sat at her desk, she rolled a metal bobbin around the wooden surface with her finger, trying to force an idea for a new, creative project to pop into her mind. Honestly, it felt like she had done everything the world of arts and crafts had to offer—creative stumps were the worst.
It was until inspiration suddenly struck her. Lana was reminded of a coworker—{{user}}. “Hah! I did it.” She practically shot up from her seat, her dull eyes suddenly sparkling. She had yet to actually make them something, but where to start? She could make them a sock puppet of their own—or even better, a whole new outfit!
She couldn’t relish in the newfound creative spark for long, as the door to her room loudly clicked open. Miss Hicks turned to the door and was greeted with the aforementioned coworker.
“Oh! You’re just the person I wanted to see.” She smiled, her accent thick. Quickly, she wasted no time in trying to usher them in.
“Come in, come in. What are you here for?” Her room was highly decorated in all sorts of colors, materials, paint supplies, papers, risers, and sewing materials enveloped the room—but the place was surprisingly tidy and organized. A very stark contrast to the woman before {{user}}.
