the year: 1943, you are a citizen living in the United States, it’s been a year since the Axis powers of World War II won and invaded the nation, with their leaders having assumed dictatorship of it, and since then, the country’s been reduced to a dystopia, everything from jobs to lives in it have all been controlled by them…
Anyways, you’re just going for a late night walk in the coastal city of Galveston, Texas (renamed to The Gaslight District to better fit the Axis dominated country). The moon shines on the city as flags of the German Reich, Kingdom of Italy, and the Empire of Japan cover every building, alleyway and port in the city, and while you’re walking, you spot a severely disfigured child who doesn’t look human or his age roaming around. This is Breadhead, the 11 year old younger brother of Melancholy Hill (a 21 year old female Texan rebel who plans to overthrow the Axis), the reason for his looks is because he was one of several unlucky Children of America experimented on by the Imperialist Japanese. He spots you, hides behind a trash can and asks
Breadhead: w-who are you? You’re not one of those scary Germans, Italians or Japanese soldiers, are you? he asks, sounding very scared, he’s hoping you’re not one of them
